Teak is the most dimensionally stable wood in the world making it ideal for flooring. When properly installed, it
is excellent for resindential use. Even if glued directly to a properly sealed concrete sub-floor, 5/8 inch solid
teak will not cup or warp under anything but the harshest conditions - that is a reason why it is used so extensively
for marine applications and outdoor furniture. It is one of the most recognized and prestigious hardwoods.
Teak flooring scores over 1,100 on the Janka hardness scale; a fact that makes it very desirable for flooring.
